Sad Sad News!

Today I learnt something very sad in terms of Doctor Who blogs. Jess, the creator of Planet gallifrey.blogspot.com is leaving the site. I am sure that this blog needs no introduction to all well travelled whovian bloggers and in turn this will come as very sad news. Speaking from a personal viewpoint I found Planet Gallifrey the very first time I did a search for Doctor Who on the internet and ever since then I have had it either bookmarked or linked and Indeed until the weekend it will continue to be linked on this site...After that I'm removing it. I pretty much visited it every day for who news and stories and found it a refreshing link to not only the new series' but the old doctors as well.

In honour of Planet Gallifrey and indeed its creator Jess the new trailer for Christel Doctor Who Series 1 that I shall show on Saturday will be dedicated to Jess and the blog. It was that blog that inspired me to start my own and so I thought it only fitting to show my appreciation.

Series 1 - Trailer 2 Coming Saturday 27th Feb

My sincerest apologies for not updating in a while but I have a lot on work wise. With the release of Christel Doctor Who series 1 drawing ever nearer I am pleased to announce that I am still working as hard as ever on the series. To showcase this I am releasing the second trailer for the series next Saturday at around midday Eastern Standard Time. There will also be episode synposis' for episodes 2 and 3 up later this week.

What to expect in February

Although February is now a few days old I am posting now to tell you what will be winging your way Christel Doctor Who wise this February. So here is a run down of what to expect and (roughly) when to expect it...

- A new series 1 trailer (Late February)

- Main character biographies (mid to late Feb)

- Episode synopsis for Episode 1 (Next Few Days)

- Episode synopsis for Episodes 2 and 3 (Mid and then late Feb)

- Plus a competition announcement with a very special prize. (Late Feb)

The competition is something that I have been toying with the idea of for a while and although at the moment Im not going to give much away I can tell you that it will be to do with Christel Doctor Who Series 2 (Yes I know series 1 isnt even out yet) which I do have ideas for already, and if series 1 is enough of a success I plan to release next year.

Now to some Christel Doctor Who related news; With the release date for series 1 now firmly announced (17th April incase you missed it (Shame on you if you did!:) )) I shall be posting on the first of February with another 'What to expect in the coming month' post and there will be some very exciting revelations...including companion biographies and a sneak peek at episode 1 - New Beginnings.

Life, Doctor Who and Combom hits 2 million

It is very rare that I shall ever talk about other blogs but this just deserves a mention. Life Doctor Who and Combom is the holy-grail of Doctor Who fan blogs and it has now hit 2 million views...something which I think you'll agree is amazing! This really is the best doctor who blog around at the moment (in my opinion) and is definitely worth a visit (on a daily basis). Well don to Combom.

New Face, New Adventures, Same Doctor

I am proud to announce the first cinema length trailer for Christel Doctor Who series 1 due to be released in April of this year. The trailer features new content from the first half of series as well as announcing the official release date for the series as well.

Doctor who and everything related is owned by the BBC. This is simply a 'fan-work' made out of admiration and no copyright infrigement is intended.

Series 1 Release Date Announced on Friday

On Friday 22nd January I shall release a cinema length trailer that will announce the release date of series 1. I was going to release the two things separately but with a number of things to do it seemed a good idea to kill two birds with one stone.

I have edited the trailer and it is finished but I cant get it uploaded until Friday. 90% of it is new content form series 1 and shows the first pictures of the Doctors new companion Tabitha Mortimer who you will be hearing a lot more about next month.

Easter Egg Series 1 Trailer

As promised here is the 'Easter Egg' trailer for series 1. Its basically an early voice test I did of the 11th Doctor to see how well I could sync his lips up with the voice. The audio used for this is actually the trailer for Eccleston's series 1 in 2005. It fits quite well and I think works quite well as a trailer. Enjoy...
