Series 3 Epsiode 1 - An Imperfect World

So here it is. The beginning of the end...for now ;) Episode 1 of the epic six part story that will be Christel Doctor Who series 3. There are thrills, spills, twists and turns ahead. So sit back and enjoy. You really do need to watch the whole thing to understand the story, so no skipping to the end okay!

This time tomorrow...

...everything you know about Christel Doctor Who will have changed. Or will it? I am very excited about the release of Christel Doctor Who Series 3 tomorrow. It should be online at around 4 'o' clock GMT so be sure to keep checking back throughout the day for news and updates.

To give you a few hints about episode 1 there is a HUGE twist at the end and its a very nostalgic episode, but you'll find out that tomorrow.

4 Days to go...

With 4 days to go until CDW series 3 is released I am doing a roundup of all the trailers that have so far been released. Posted below are all the character trailers and the series trailers that I have shown up to this point.

I hope they whet the appetite again. Series 3 really isn't that far away now, I am very excited...

5 Days to go...

With just 5 days to go it is plot snippets time for episode 1. I have had to be very careful about these snippets as I want to avoid giving too much away about what is to happen. There are some rather large surprises in the episode that hopefully nobody will see coming.








Episode 1 - An Imperfect World

1. Two John Smiths in one day...Tabitha should be so lucky.

2. It might have been five years for Tabitha but it has only been moments since the end of series 2 for the Doctor and Amy Pond...and it shows!

3. There is some hustle-esque Jiggery-pokery at the start of the episode that doesn't get explained straight away.

4. There is a museum visit...and the Doctor takes an instant liking to the curator. Well he would wouldn't he?

5. There is a scene that I think you knew would be happening at some point in the series...but I bet you didn't expect it already.

6 Days to go...

With just 6 days now to go to the release of Christel Doctor Who series 3 I am now pleased to say that I have the entire series sitting on my desktop ready to be uploaded to youtube. This means that production has officially wrapped on series 3 and I can begin turning my attention to my other projects.

I have already begun writing Centerpoint series 1 and I can give a small snippet of information in that the series will start in the very distant future. To roll out the inevitable cliches; it will be darker and more adventurous than anything you have seen before.

7 Days to go....

So here we go...just seven days left until series 3 of Christel Doctor Who and its plot synopsis time. Episode 1, An Imperfect World will be with you on the 3rd of December 2011.

I would like to think of the episode as "The odd one out" of the six part story, there are some really big surprises as well some guest appearances that you really won't see coming and a nice nod to some expanded universe literature, but before I just splurge out the whole plot, here is the official synopsis...



Christel Doctor Who S301 - An Imperfect World

Five years has passed since Tabitha Mortimer last saw the Doctor and the world has moved on around her. The promise of an old love and a new life has never been enough for Tabitha and in truth she always hoped to find a way back to that fabled blue box. But, when her greatest wish comes true it sets in motion a chain of events that will change the Doctors life forever. As old faces lurk in the shadows even older ones return to deliver the most crushing news, The gates are waiting, the Halls are open and the doctor has been running, running for too long, and soon he must face the one thing that even he cannot beat. The end of days is nigh...

8 Days to go...

8 is originally the number of episodes that I planned for series 3 of Christel Doctor Who. Then it shot up to 13 and then back down to 6, where thankfully it has stayed.

But as you will also see, 8 is a VERY important number in the first episode of series 3, teehee

9 Days to go...

With 9 days left today's post is one detailing the confirmed character list for the series. Whilst building up to series 3 I have announced numerous characters but never really released a final confirmed list. Well here it is, but with a suprise inclusion...

10 Days to go...

Can you believe there are now only ten days until series 3 of Christel Doctor Who. I am now working at full pelt to have the series ready and so, beginning today, I am launching the now traditional countdown posts to the beginning of the series.


My first revelation is that in one of the episodes in the series there is a broom. Now that my seem a bit random, but bare it in mind when watching...
