Christel Doctor Who of the Week...Centerpoint
Although completely different from its origin, the name Centerpoint is one of the only things that survived from my originally very convoluted ideas for series 1 of CDW. Centerpoint was to be a space station at the centre of all universes that was actually alive and the Doctor had to merge with it. But as you can see by even that sentence the idea was far too "out there" to ever work. I liked the name though, so that stuck.

Series 4 Will Keep you Guessing...
Now that I have signed off the scripts for the first half of Christel Doctor Who series 4 it has become immediately clear that it is indeed a series that will keep you guessing. I wanted to try and avoid the typical "plot-twist" device and in doing I seem to have created a number of very pleasing (in my opinion) bluff, double bluff and treble bluff situations that, to coin a cliche, really turn things on their head.
I hope that as you watch the series you will think that something is set in stone only for it to be turned around and then flipped over. And at the heart of it all...the dastardly new CDW baddies...The Contingent, your going to love to hate them!

16-bit Doctor Who
This has been floating around the web for a bit but I couldn't resist embedding it here for all to see. This is a truly genius spoof of a Doctor Who 16-bit console game that rips off the events of series 5 and 6. Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Christel Doctor Who of the Week...Azmael Foundation
Although the Azmael foundation was a plot point in mainly series 1 it never truly got put to bed. ARNIE mentioned it in his own series (which chronologically occurred after CDW series 1) and it got a brief mention in series 2. Don't worry, you haven't seen the last of it yet either.

Edward Gore and Ryan John sign on for CDW Series 4
I am pleased to announce today that I have officially cast the first two voice actors for series 4 of Christel Doctor Who. Edward Gore will play the 12th Doctor and Ryan John will play his companion Fletcher Reed.
Both Edward and Ryan gave brilliant auditions and when you hear them in character you will understand why I offered them the parts. This of course means that series 4 can continue to move forward and that I can now send out the scripts for the actors to start work on their lines, which is very exciting.
Edward Gore, the 12th Doctor, has his own blog which is linked here, and until I can showcase something showing off his voice as the Doctor it should give you an idea of what to expect. His audition was especially pleasing as he showed that he has a wide variety of accents that are open to use and I think he will really bring something different to the character of the Doctor.
I have made an offer to a voice actor about the part of Mystus but as yet I have not heard back from them, so I am unable to confirm their casting.
I hope to be able to prepare a short video showing the actors voicing their characters soon so be sure to check back for that.

Christel Doctor Who of the Week...Omega
After a long period in the wilderness I am finally resurrecting and dusting off the CDW of the Week series. Today we (re)start with a revelation from series 1. If you watch the original series 1 teaser trailer this guy appears...
He was originally intended to be a reborn version of Omega however I dropped the idea once I decided that Rassilon would be returning for the series finale. It actually turned out to be one of the best things I ever did because the episode that he was going to be in eventually turned out to be "Curse of a Timelord", which was voted the best episode of series 1.

A bit of a lull...
My apologies for the recent lack of regular posts but I have been somewhat ill recently and unable to muster the energy to post anything meaningful. Rest assured that work still continues in earnest on series 1 of Centerpoint. I am also close to being able to announce who I have cast as voice actors for series 4 of Christel Doctor Who, so there is plenty of news and info to come, just when I get a little better.

First Centerpoint Set-Photo
Pre-production has now begun in earnest on series 1 of Centerpoint and in honor of that fact I am posting today with the first set-photo from the first episode of the series. Unfortunately none of the actors were on set today as the main focus of the work was set-dressing but hopefully this shots give the impression of how the series should look.
Pictured below is Mark Warren's apartment and it will be featured heavily in the first episode. More shots to come soon...

Centerpoint Series 1 Episodes
With Production of Centerpoint series 1 now moving up a gear I am posting today to announce the episode titles for this first series.
Even from this early information it should be clear that Mark Warren will play a major part in the formation of the series and the overall arc. As previously noted, the mysterious ACoRN will also play a major part in the series. Of course the series will also have its fair share of guest 'characters' one of which I am very excited about will be appearing in episode 4. Get guessing folks!
1. Mark Warren Must Die (Part 1)
2. From Mighty ACoRN's...
3. Time (and time) again.
4. It's all Relative(ity)
5. First and last throw of the di(c)e
6. Mark Warren Must Die (Part 2)
