Christel Doctor Who of the Week - The TARDIS
The TARDIS was originally intended to look like the one from the original series but after finding the current version had much more animation possibilities I decided to go for that one instead. If you want to see what it would have looked like then please refer to Azmael's quarters from the finale of series 1.

New Series 2 Trailer Coming Soon...
In the next few weeks I will be uploading a new cinema trailer for series 2 which will not only show some of the new material for the series but also announce the series 2 release date. The 'Release' trailer will hopefully be up around the middle of February, which means that you don't have to wait long to find out when series 2 of Christel Doctor Who will be with us.

DanHarma reviews the Christmas Special
DanHarma, guest writer for series 2 and long time supporter of this blog has written a truly wonderful review of the Christel Doctor Who Christmas Special, How the Doctor Stole Christmas. I implore you to head over to his blog here and read the review. Thanks again to Dan for the wonderful review.
Series 2 Episode Synopsis
In an attempt to make up for my recent lack of activity on this blog I am posting today with brief episode synopsis' of the first 6 episodes of series 2 of Christel Doctor Who. This was something that the BBC did with Doctor Who before Matt Smith's first season and was something I swore I would do to. So, here goes.
S201 - Hearts of Stone
A message from the past leads to an alarming sequence of events in the future. Yet as the tragedy of Ralph Tunney's life begins unfolding, it is soon clear that something is stirring in the museum, and the fraternity are watching.
S202 - Plight of the Wolflar
The wolflar are lost...terrified and desperate and that makes them more dangerous than anything...and as the Doctor is about to find out...they will do anything to anyone to get home.
S203 - Death on the Line
In the 1940's Sheila Renton lost her son to a gruesome train accident...yet as the Doctor and Tabitha know the story could of been very different. In a race against time the Doctor and Tabitha face the most difficult question of all...who survives?
S204 AND S205 - The Horus Heresy and Eye of the Beholder
As the Doctor resumes his guardianship of the Harmonica they are faced with a most terrible realisation...Their greatest legend is being retold, and somebody or something, is changing the story.
S206 - Memoirs of a Timelord
Its decision time for the Doctor; When a memory from a time long forgotten resurfaces he must face an awful and terrifying truth. Seeing an old friend one more time could mean asking his companion an impossible favor.
These are the basic synopsis, and closer to the time of release of each episode I will post more in depth, but for now they give an idea of how the first part of the series will pan out.

Series 2 plot arc...
As with series 1 of Christel Doctor Who there will be a main plot arc woven into pretty much all of the episodes with the intention of building the story up to the finale (which runs to 3 parts for series 2 remember!).
Whilst I cannot tell you much about it at the moment I can tell you that it was mentioned, twice, in the Christmas special, so it might be worth a rewatch to see if you can find it. Having written the final scenes of the finale I can tell you already that it is hopefully going to throw one hell of a curveball...you have been warned...
(Just to clarify, Rassilon is NOT returning in Series 2, this was the only picture that I could think of to link to a 'story arc' post)

Episodes 1,3 and 4 finished
Firstly I must apologise for the recent lack of posting. I have been beavering away animating and writing series 2 of Christel Doctor Who; But as the post title says I have now fully animated episodes 1,3 and 4 and I am half way through episode 5. That will mean that with only episodes 2 and 6 left to do I will have then completed the first half of the series.
This in turn will then allow me to formulate a plan for the release which I am hoping will be pretty soon. Once I have episode 5 (Eye of the Beholder) finished I will announce a release date.

Episodes 4 and 5 Underway
I have now officially started the second 'block' of writing and filming for series 2 of Christel Doctor Who. Currently, I have episodes 1 and 3 finished, episode 7 is 50% finished and I am now starting to animate episodes 4 and 5. I hope to soon be able to bring news of a release date for series 2, so keep watching this space.

Series 2 Cinema Trailer
Although this was promised before the new year work commitments (and me wanting to get it right) have held up the release of the first series 2 cinema trailer until today...
Put together using footage that has already been animated, meaning everything you see here IS in series 2 I hope you enjoy it. I'll post later with a full breakdown of the trailer so that you can see which episodes each of the shots are from.

Series 2 Rolls on...
With animation on the first block of episodes for Christel Doctor Who series 2 pretty much finished I have now moved onto scripting work again. I am currently writing the two-part story that will become episodes 4 and 5 (The Horus Heresy and Eye of the Beholder respectively) and will feature the return of the Harmonica.
Because I added a mid series break into series 2 I have changed the order in which I am producing the episodes. I intend to get the first half of the series done between now and late March and then start the second half whilst the first six episodes are airing...which could mean an earlier release date. But more on this will follow soon.
P.S. I shall also be adding the what to expect from Christel films in 2011 post to the sidebar so that any new viewers to the site can see whats coming...and anybody that missed the original post can check up as well.

What to expct from Christel Films in 2011...
2011 is going to be a very exciting year for fans of Christel Doctor Who. I am posting now to announce what is coming this year and the other special projects that I am working on. First I thought I would cover the things that you already know...
Christel Doctor Who Series 2
This should come as no surprise to regular visitors. Series 2 is now well into production and will hopefully be with us before the end of April, although this is a date that is subject to change. Series 2 will take the normal 13 episode run but be split in the middle and take a 5/6 week break.
ARNIE Series 1
Although this series actually started last year the rest of ARNIE series 1 will be shown this year. There are 3 episodes left of the 5 episode run and these will hopefully be released before series 2 of Christel Doctor Who.
Okay, now onto the new announcements...
Christel Doctor Who Series 3
That's right, you get to see series 3 this year...and next. I am planning to run series 3 in latter half of the year, with 6 episodes this side of Christmas, the Christmas special as part of the series, and then 6 episodes the other side of Christmas. (Again this is subject to change, and, probably will). I already have the basic arc and story mapped out so I couldn't see the point in waiting.
ARNIE Series 2
Although only two episodes old ARNIE series 1 has proved so popular that I have bitten the bullet and 'greenlit' series 2 of ARNIE for another 5 episode run. I can't promise when this will be out, but it wont't be until series 2 of Christel Doctor is finished at the earliest.
My Story for Burkey's Series
I am in the process of drafting and writing a story for Burkey's 11th Doctor series on his blog here. There is little to tell you at the moment but the idea will hopefully go down well, and the episode is quite dark...muhahahaha.
Another Christel Doctor Who Spinoff
This is in the very very early stages of planning at the moment, to the point that it doesn't even have a name, but I do have plans for another spinoff from Christel Doctor Who and although you probably won't see it in 2011 you will probably get some more info about it as the year goes on.
So all in all one hell of a year hopefully. Priority at the moment is series 2 of Christel Doctor Who and the trailer that was promised before the new year should be with you pretty soon.

Big Announcement Later Today
Although it is slightly late I should take this opportunity to thank everybody for their support over the course of 2010 and to wish you all a happy new year. I am posting today with news of a special announcement that will be made later today in which I outline my plans for this blog for the coming year and what you can expect to see coming your way in 2011.
Although you already know that series 2 of Christel Doctor Who is coming out this year you still don't know when and what else there is likely to be. Check back later for the full announcement.

Christel Doctor Who of the Week - Guardians of Time
We saw the White Guardian of Time at the very end of Legends of a Timelord. He informed the Doctor that he was taking part in a test of some sort and that he would meet the guardians twice more. He also said that when they met for the last time the Doctor would know his true self.
The location and whereabouts, or indeed the roles of the other guardians of time are as of yet unknown, although the white guardian does imply that they are involved by saying "They are not needed for this part of the test"

ARNIE Episode 2 - Times of Change
Although slightly later than originally planned (Sorry once more) here for your viewing pleasure is episode 2 of ARNIE, entitled, Times of Change. This is the first part of a two-part story and actually features an enemy that I thought of a long time ago for Christel Doctor Who and have wanted to use for a long time. Enjoy.
