Christel Doctor Who of the Week - Endgame

The events of the Christel Doctor Who Specials in 2009 featured the 11th Doctor as we now know him. However, from the 10th doctors perspective, and Timothy's, he was from their future. This means that the 11th Doctor has yet to experience the events of these stories in his timestream. It is as yet unclear as to when the 11th Doctor will experience these events.

The 11th Doctor also points out that he is yet to  meet the future Daleks that can somehow pilot the TARDIS and claim to have beaten him.

The countdown is on...

New Layout

So as planned I am now having a play with the layout of the blog, just to freshen it up a bit. The current template probably will stay but will be tweaked a bit. One of the main things I need to know is how to center my picture at the top, so any input on that would be very much appreciated. I hope you like the regenerated look.

Series 2 Change!

Now that you have watched Memoirs of a Timelord you have seen that it billed the next episode as City of the Damned. I am chaning the running order for the second half of series 2 slightly. City of the Damned is becoming a two-part story, encompassing episodes 7 and 8. "Music to the ears" will be episode 9 and "The Lying old Witch in the wardrobe" will be episode 10.

I have decided to drop Plight of the Wolflar back to series 3. Its a story that I just couldnt seem to finish and make sense...so I am going to strip it back and rewrite it for series 3, plus, City of the Damned just kept getting longer and will work well as a two part story.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the first part of Christel Doctor Who series 2. As ever, I am very interested to hear what people have to say and I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Series 2 Episode 6, Memoirs of a Timelord

So here it is, episode 6, Memoirs of a Timelord officially brings the first part of Christel Doctor Who Series 2 to a close...Keep checking back for more series updates soon. Until then...enjoy the episode.

Mid Season Break

Episode 6, Memoirs of a Timelord is coming this weekend and will also herald the mid-season break for Series 2 of Christel Doctor Who. At the moment plans are for it to be a 6 week break. This gives me time to tweak scripts and actually film the final episodes, which I must admit I have slipped behind with...but no fear. They will be here on time and just like last series there will be plenty of trailers and snippets to look forward to. In the meantime, you have the ever-so-strange episode 6, Memoirs of a Timelord, to look forward to...

Christel Doctor Who of the Week - Is he wearing a fez?!

Thats right...River Song showed the Doctor the picture she had of his eleventh face and his comment was "Is he wearing a fez?!" It would appear that this was the 11th Doctor as played by Matt Smith. It would also appear, given her earlier comments, that her diary shows no record of the Christel Doctor. The reasons for this are as yet unknown.

Eye of the Beholder Plot Synopsis

Series 2, Episode 4, Eye of the Beholder is due out at the weekend and so today I present the official episode synopsis. This episode is designed to be quite 'left field' and hopefully is a slightly different approach to Doctor Who but I'll leave it up to you the viewer to comment. Meanwhile, here is the synopsis...

Yet as the pieces of a very intricate puzzle start to unravel the Doctor and Tabitha soon find out that the world around them is not what they once thought it was. Just what is making Tabitha dream? Why doesn't HORUS remember key events in his life? And just what is that lurking in the background trying only to play a game?

Christel Doctor Who of the Week - Memoirs of a Timelord

Episode 6 of series 2 is entitled Memoirs of a Timelord and is the third episode in Christel Doctor Who to include the word 'Timelord' in the title. It is also one of the most important episodes in series 2, which may prove surprising given the fact that it is largely 'Doctor-lite'

Series 2 Episode 3 - The Horus Heresy

I am pleased to present for your viewing pleasure, Episode 3 of Christel Doctor Who Series 2, The Horus Heresy. This is the first part of a two-part story that will be concluded with episode 4, Eye of the Beholder and also where a lot of the story fragments for the overall series arc start to become more obvious. Torchwood: Renaissance

Torchwood: Renaissance is a new project that I am delighted (and very lucky) to be working on with the creative geniuses that are Blink and Burkey. Blink has made a teaser trailer for the series that will debut later in the year and we hope that people will get onboard and follow the creation of the series. It will entail six animated stories in total and we have been working on it in the background for some time now. Thats all there is for now, but in the meantime, please enjoy this special teaser trailer...

The Horus Heresy Plot Snippets

Here are the five plot snippets for episode 3 of series 2, The Horus Heresy. Enjoy...

1. You will need to watch the whole episode very carfeully. It jumps about and should leave you asking some questions.

2. Tabitha has an inception moment...one dream on top of another.

3. At the very beginning of the episode the Doctor is having trouble with the TARDIS. (Just remember that)

4. Horus summons his cronies and they really wreak havoc.

5. The TARDIS remote control really does work.

(BONUS Number 6. Timothy is NOT in the episode but he does get mentioned)

P.S. In other news, a VERY special announcement is also due tonight at 9pm

Christel Doctor Who of the Week - The Doctor(s) in ARNIE

This brief scene from the end of ARNIE series 1 takes place after PARRIS and ARNIE have left for the future and involves the 10th and 11th Doctors as we know them. This is their second appearance in Christel Canon to date and in this brief scene they discuss that 'he' [ARNIE] is now in the right place. The 10th Doctor then says that Hectus cannot be left waiting any longer. Who Hectus is, or what role he ultimately has to play, is as yet, unknown.

The two Doctors also discuss ARNIE being another part of the puzzle and again make reference to time being short.

The Horus Heresy Synopsis

Below is the plot synopsis for episode 3 of Christel Doctor Who Series 2 entitled, The Horus Heresy. I should add before the synopsis that this episode is the first part of a two-part story and also begins to ramp up a lot of the hints and clues as to the finale and has a lot to add to the overall series arc, so make sure you watch carefully. Anyways, on with the synopsis...

When the Doctor receives a call from the Harmonica home world he duly attends. But they have an unusual problem, their greatest nightmare is returning, seemingly from nowhere and they need the Doctor to help unravel the mystery of the Horus Heresy. Coupled with this is the strange feeling that something isn't quite right, and that the TARDIS is being watched. How was Horus able to come back? Why don't things feel right? and who is Tabitha Mortimer dreaming of?

Introducing...The Fab Four

These four people really don't need any introduction, but in epsiode 8 of series 2, Music to the Ears the Beatles will indeed be making a very special appearance, in fact they are central to the storyline. Here they are in costume, during filming of the episode.

ARNIE Series 2 goes into pre-production

I can quite happily confirm that today I have officially put series 2 of ARNIE into 'pre-production'. I have begun to map out the overall series arc and I know exactly what I want to happen by the end of the series, which I can already promise will blow you away.

Of course you may remember that the series will be the first Christel Doctor Who series to be voice acted and I am planning on getting all of the writing for the episodes done before entering into the casting stage.

I plan to keep the process of upcoming series up to date in the side bar from now on so be sure to check out whats happening over the next few weeks and months. 'Pre-production' is usually quite a long and quiet (news-wise) stage of production but to start it off I can confirm that ARNIE's original appearance at the end of Christel Doctor Who Series 1 episode, Sins of the Fathers, will get explained, and of course that the series will take place in the future setting of New Earth.

Introducing...Tabitha's House!

Although my introducing posts are usually about characters I have broken tradition just this once to bring you news that you will finally get to see Tabitha's house in episode 8 of Christel Doctor Who series 2. Music to the Ears will also feature four singers from Liverpool...called the Beatles, don't know if you've heard of them or not/
